System settings

To change the system settings, tap > and then . Tap / to find more

options.

Icon Mode Description

Manage Memory Formats the internal memory or the SD card.

Instant Review Sets the display time of each captured photo.

Digital Zoom Sets a zoom setting for the camera to remember (useful when

you turn it on next time).

Wise Zoom reduces the image size, and thus increases

the effective zoom length without sacrificing image quality.

System Sound Sets system sounds to on or off.

Volume Sets the volume for playback.

LCD Brightness Sets the brightness of the touch screen.

Power Saving Sets the idle time before the camera enters the power-saving

mode. The camera automatically turns off 2 minutes after

entering the power-saving mode.

-- Date/Time Sets the date and time.

Date Format Sets the displayed time format.

TV Format Sets the video format (such as NTSC or PAL) when connecting

to an AV system like TV.

-- Hot Key Sets the options shown in the Quick Bar.

-- Startup Image Sets the startup image displayed when the camera is turned on.

-- Reset Returns all settings to the factory default values or resets the file

number.

Language Sets the displayed language on the touch screen.
